A
few years ago, I suffered a back
injury that put an end to my wild and crazy mountain biking days in Gunung
Mas, puncak Jawa Barat . Determined to continue enjoying my bicycle,
I began to explore off-road bicycle paths that either pass through
interesting places or simply offer good scenery and a satisfying few hours
on two wheels.
This is a collection of some of my favorite off-road bike paths in Indonesia area. If you are a "casual" biker - that is, one who doesn't care much for tight, neon Lycra riding gear, and one who would prefer not to use a speedometer or heart rate monitor - you'll probably enjoy any of these.
